Nellie is constructed of Birch and Hoop pine ply, with Jarrah and Maranti trimming.
She, Nellie, is a Devlin, Dipper 19 extended to a Dipper 20 design. Nellie took 18 months to build and I named her after my Mum.
Nellie's first major job was to transport my daughter to her wedding venue. Nellie is mainly an inland (Lakes) vessel with a lot of character. She is constructed by using the stitch and glue method using epoxy, and many layers of bias ply fibre glass.
